火灾探测器的作用

火灾自动报警系统由火灾探测器和火灾报警控制器组成。火灾探测器是系统的”感觉器官”，它的作用是监视环境中有没有火灾的发生。一旦有了火情，就将火灾的特征物理量，如温度、烟雾、气体和辐射光强等转换成电信号，并立即动作，向火灾报警控制器发送报警信号。对于易燃易爆场合，火灾探测器主要探测其周围空间的气体浓度，在浓度达到爆炸下限以前报警。在个别场合下，火灾探测器也可探测压力和声波。火灾探测器的分类比较复杂。实用的分类方法有结构造型分类法、探测火灾参数分类法和使用环境分类法等。

Automatic fire alarm system consists of fire detector and fire alarm controller.
