电气火灾监控探测器（以下简称电流探测器）是一种独立式的智能型探测器。电流探测器作为电气火灾监控系统信号处理的中继部分，能通过内置电路及软件对下级终端电流探头传递过来的信号进行智能分析处理，由此可判断出下级终端每一只电流探头的状态（即故障状态、火灾报警状态、正常工作状态），适用在电气火灾发生机率最大的工厂、大型库房、办公室、商业建筑、宾馆、住宅及娱乐场所等线路复杂的场所中。
